Walmart price matching policy

So lately I have been doing a lot of price matching at Walmart and when I have time I use coupons, since I just don't have time to hit all the stores.  Time is such a precious commodity!  Anyway depending on which  cashier I get depends on how they approach me for price matching.  I usually go through the ads make a list and then read them down when I check out but lately I had some some cashier that wanted to check my ads I had a FULL basket of price match items and it took 25 minutes to check out each item I purchased.  Then sometimes I just tell them and we go through the list and check out.  So I looked up today on the Walmart site the actually policy here.  To my surprise and I've heard this from some Walmart employees it says " We do not require customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor's ad."
